Having successfully completed an installation of a Showroom in their Shoe Lane premises, Arrow were asked by NEC Business Equipment Division to install another permanent demonstration suite at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. The demo suite will allow dealers to experience first-hand a variety of display applications, spanning videoconferencing and multi-media presentations for the corporate sector, advertising and information display for the retail and leisure markets, and home entertainment for the Home Cinema market.

The site chosen by NEC within the Business Design Centre was a shell that needed to take shape as a state-of-the-art presentation area. A detailed site survey was undertaken before design began, and various obstacles and challenges identified. Once the design was approved by NEC and the relevant authorities, Arrow Display began to transform the design concept into reality. The existing ceiling was torn out and replaced, with new air-conditioning, sprinkler and smoke detectors systems installed. The unit was totally rewired to provide all increased power requirements for the equipment and controlled lighting. Once the beech floor was in place, specialist walling and purpose built displays for equipment (which had previously been built in our workshops) were installed. All NEC's equipment was positioned and networked together to give a colourful interactive experience.
